27 Years Instructing Experience        Adults & Children        Your Horse or Mine
Year Round (Indoor & Outdoor Arenas) Private & Group
Lessons for fun, training, barrel racing, pole bending, western showing, 4-H, new horse owners, confidence building, problem horses and more

There is no other equine facility within 60 miles with the 27 years of instructing experience, happy, healthy horses and stellar safety record that Coyote Creek offers! This is my full time professional job, not a hobby on the side. We have something for everyone!

Riding lessons students at Coyote Creek enjoy not only arena lessons but also have the opportunity to ride in parades, trail rides, horse shows, obstacle courses, tracking the hot heels, sorting calves and the annual overnight campout and trail ride.

Success Story
Two girls I have given horseback riding lessons to from beginner riders all the way through advanced riders and competition, have qualified, competed and placed nationally in barrel racing and pole bending.
Several girls over the years have come back as adults to thank me for changing their lives, and some even said saving their lives!  In the tumultuous teen years, some of them had dealt with abuse, family problems, bullying etc.  They told me that Coyote Creek helped them through those terrible times!

Trail Rides

Relax and enjoy nature and let your stress and tension slip away while you enjoy horseback riding at Coyote Creek Stables Inc. There is no other equine facility within 60 miles with the 27 years of trail guide experience, happy, healthy horses and stellar safety record that Coyote Creek offers! This is my full time professional job, not a hobby on the side. We have something for everyone!

Beginner rides are slow and relaxing along grassy creek sides & waterway
trails and can include a few small hills and a creek crossing. We will ride past many grazing horses out in pasture and sometimes see a coyote, rabbit, pheasant or a doe and her twins enjoying their natural habitat in our "no hunting" preserve.

Hour and a half or two hour rides are great for Intermediate to advanced riders.   It consists of narrow, winding wooded trails with lots of creek crossings, hills and water (this ride is not recommended for young beginner children or apprehensive riders).  This ride is challenging.

Unlike many trail rides, we offer riders a little more fun with some trotting. Riders who demonstrate safe and competent horse riding skills as a group will be allowed to canter as well upon request. My trail horses include gentle horses used for 4 & 5 y/o riding lesson students as well as energetic, responsive horses I use for competition in western pleasure, ranch sorting, barrel racing & pole bending. Horseback riding times available from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Make a weekend of it by trail riding, grilling out or having a wiener roast, going on a hay ride, relaxing in the hot tub & spending the night in the overnight room!

RSVP early as we have lots of horse shows, sorting shows, sorting practices, girl & boy scouts, riding lessons, birthday parties, field trips, etc that fill our schedule.

Half hour (limited availablitlity), hour, hour and a half & two hour rides are available.
